Chamonix Village

Take a breath of fresh air and stroll on the little streets full of charm. Cable car Aiguille du Midi

Ride up the cable car and discover a spectacular panoramic view of the Chamonix Valley and the French, Swiss and Italian Alps at 3842m!

For more than 60 years, this is the place to be in the region.The landscaped terraces offer a 360° view on the Alps and Mont Blanc. The 32m steel gallery, also called the Tube, allows you to go all over the Aiguille du Midi.

If the weather allowed it, you can try the unique adventure: "Step into the Void" BREATHTAKING! Three glass walls, floor and ceiling panels, allow visitors to control their vertigo and experience 1035 meters of space under their feet!

Cable car Brevent

Less known than the Aiguille du Midi, the Brévent cable car offers nevertheless one of the most beautiful panorama on the chain of the Alps and the unavoidable Mont-Blanc. Enjoy the beautiful sunny terraces for a moment of tranquility and contemplation. Starting point for paragliding, many hikes are possible from Brévent such as the path to Aiguillette des Houches. It is also the meeting place for climbers, because the Brévent plates make it a perfect place to climb the walls.

Mer de Glace

Board the charming red cog railway up to Montenvers, from where you will take advantage of a fantastic view over the Mer de Glace (Iced sea). This magnificent glacier measures more of 7km of length is the longest glacier of France!

Situated in 1913 meters of altutude, the site of Montenvers offers a grand panorama on the Mer de Glace. Once there, take the path to visit the Ice Cave (20min).
